flicking through the channels last night i came across what can only be described as absolute unfiltered drivle by a gruop of people with little to none acting capability, im not going to take away the fact that mr dawson has achieved much in his young age, but that doesn't mean he can write BBC sitcom (albeit bbcthree) he still has a lot to learn. i find it embarrassing that this is considered worthy of television. i watched the clip above and i must say, that the people who watch television arn't as dumb as the people who make it.

Alright it's watchable and sometimes you might actually laugh but this writer needs to really to mature his pen. The jokes don't need to be subtle but try building a joke up rather than searching for a half second chuckle. I don't mean to sound condescending but unless your target audience is between the ages of 8 and 13 you are missing the head of the nail. It's fun to be childish, to the point and crude but I know people who have commented on the fact that it sounds like a comedy written by a teenager, which is only bad in that this implied a lack of experience in scripting. The void between representing the characteristics of crude teenage humour and an immensely surreal fictional reality makes the show seem to beg for laughs rather than let them come naturally. Sorry to be so ambiguous I don't know how to express why myself and others can't fully grasp the shows appeal but my only advice would be to take example from the inbetweeners.

Hello, thank you for leaving your comments (offensive words will not be tolerated on this website therefore it was deleted). Tim Dawson is a positive young role model in my view, not only creating a very funny youth comedy sitcom but having the determination to follow his dreams up to reality. Being commissioned by one of the greatest TV Networks is a priceless achievement that alot of people can't get.

By the way thanks for the recommendation, I'll look into that. Feel free to contact me if you have anymore, it's highly appreciated.

I'm 18 and think this show is absolutely abysmal. Unfunny, childish and moronic. It saddens me that an idiot who managed to blag his way on BBC three because of a lack of youth oriented programming with a show that 11 year olds might find edgy is being hailed as an inspiring young person.

How about a truly talented writer like Daniel Kaluuya?
