Inspiring Young People is an online magazine aimed at promoting the brighter, more positive side of today’s youth. We feature inspirational stories and news articles from all around the globe of successful young adults making a name for themselves in the business world. At IYP we concentrate on encouraging others to do the same, providing them with advice and business techniques that will help them move forward in a positive manner.
London based Naweed Shams decided to launch this project in 2009 because he was fed up of how badly the media portrayed today’s youth. As a young entrepreneur himself at 20, he knew there was thousands out there just like him not getting the praise they deserved. A year later IYP had gained notoriety and recognition in the world of business media. He recruited once tearaway Jake Hanrahan, helping him realise his true potential as a writer. The two combined their talents and got to work. The rest is history in the making.
Many schemes have failed in the past to entice young people to make something of themselves. IYP is a magazine run by the youth, for the youth. It cuts out the ‘try to be cool attitude’ and deals with real issues for aspiring young adults in a fun yet productive way.
